StartSchool is building the next generation of tech founders and builders in Latvia. StartSchool is a 12-month, full-time, hands-on tech business school combining full-stack development (via Qwasar) with startup building from idea to pitch.

Junior Program Manager

What You'll Do

As a Junior Program Manager, you’ll help us run and continuously improve the day-to-day experience for 100+ brilliant learners. You’ll play coach, mentor, planner, problem-solver, and community builder—all in one.

You’ll work side by side with the
Program Manager and team to:

  • Support and coach learners through their coding journey (no spoon-feeding)

  • Lead live coding sessions, code reviews & collaborative exercises

  • Track student progress & help those falling behind

  • Keep our online & on-site community buzzing and engaged

  • Help develop and test tools & processes that level up the program

  • Contribute to admissions – from interviews to workshops

  • Help us set up and run the school like a tight, joyful ship

Must haves

  • You know how to code (and what clean code looks like)

  • You're comfortable running a live session or leading a group activity

  • You’re a problem-solver who thrives on challenges

  • You enjoy mentoring or helping others learn

  • You can juggle multiple tasks and still keep your Trello board clean

  • You believe in learning by doing

  • You like people. Like, actually.

Bonus if

  • You’ve worked with Qwasar or similar learning platforms

  • You’ve coached, tutored, or facilitated group learning

  • You have startup, tech, or bootcamp experience
